Abstract in English: 
This research aims studying the real relationship between modern narrative structures, with all their forms, and Arab tradition; it also aims at following some of those forms and comparing them with some modern narrative arts, like: story, play and biography; the study tries to offer an objective scientific view, as far as possible, out from the many diverse view points, the ardour of some which to tradition and its narrative forms set them far away from truth, while others underestimated this tradition and considered it as no more than a chanting one with no room for narrative in it.

The Aesthetics of Place in 'Mahmoud Darwish's

The Aesthetics of Place in 'Mahmoud Darwish's “La Taatather Amma Fa'alt
Abstract in English: 
This study deals with the aesthetics of place in 'Mahmoud Darwish's La Taatather Amma Fa'alt (Do Not Apologize for What You Have Done". The study focuses on three aspects: the poet's psychological and emotional relationship with the place, the aesthetics of closed place, and the aesthetics of open space. Utilizing the stylistic and statistical method, the study explained that the place constitutes an integral element in the structure of the Darwish poem and that it has been especially employed by Darwish to reflect his vision of the humanity in General and the Palestinian in particular given the agony, trauma and expatriation the Palestinian has been subjected to on his land and abroad. The study found two sorts of relationship between the poet and the places he has been associated with concluding that his relationship with the place was one of belonging, nostalgia and communion while that with open places was one of dissociation, repugnance and fear of the unknown.

Abstract in English: 
The king Amr Ibn Hind ruled the state of Manathira obout 8ne and halfe decade. The poets had had a strong relationship with him. They were his drinking companions. They used to betake his court to obtain his grants or to ask him for the requirments of their own tribes. The king used to care for them. This study is aiming at throwing some light on the image of the king Amr b.Hind as reflected in the poems of his court poets. Hence, to clear out this image, three subjects of these poems will be tackled which are: eulogy,defamatory,threat and inflamatory. In conclusion the image of the king was very clear in the poems of the poets,but differs widely from one subject of the poems to another. He is noble lord in the panigrical poems. In defamatory poems,he is faithless and perfidious. In the threat and inflamatory poems, he is terrible and dreadful.

Abstract in English: 
This research tries to draw a portrait for women in the “Alkhawarej” poetry during the “Umayyad” period and clarify their psychology and emotions towards what is going around them, mainly with reference to ideological as well social disputes in that period. Moreover, the research came to clarify women’s attitudes towards conflicting groups with dependence on their poetry and others. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method in studying poetry, due to the fact it is the most suiting for that period.
