Ph.D. Dissertation Abstract By:Modhi Sayeer Al-Anazi • Title of the study: An explanatory model for aggressive behavior in the light of the theory of social information processing, "a study on Saudi middle school students." The aggressive behavior is one of the most important behavioral problems prevalent among the students. As indicated by records of Guidance and Student Counseling Department of Education in Riyadh, the manifestations of aggressive behavior are widespread among middle school students, including: a student’s assaulting and uttering on teacher and on his colleagues, stubbornness and challenge, gestures and movements made by the students which indicted aggressive behavior, sabotage of the school's furniture , seats, walls, and toilets, , displaying knives or threats, or even using them, using of obscene words and noises disturbing in the classroom, and lack of respect for regulations. • The study is aimed to build a model by which we can explain the behavior of aggressive Saudi adolescents. • Sample and population of the study: The study population is the students of the middle school in Riyadh. The sample was selected at random and numbered 501 students. • The findings of the study: A - "There are statistically significant differences between low and high symptoms in aggressive behavior among Saudi adolescents and these differences tend to those of low symptoms". B - " There are statistically significant differences between low and high aggressive look in aggressive behavior among Saudi adolescents and these differences are tend to those of high aggressive look" T - " There are statistically significant differences between low and high level of self-esteem in aggressive behavior among Saudi adolescents and these differences are tend to those of low self-esteem" W - " There are statistically significant differences between low and high level of restraint in aggressive behavior among Saudi adolescents and these differences are tend to those of low-restraint" C - " There are statistically significant differences between low and high level of violence justification in aggressive behavior among Saudi adolescents and these differences are tend to those of high level of violence justification " H - " There are statistically significant differences between low and high level of amnesty in aggressive behavior among Saudi adolescents and these differences are tend to those of low level of amnesty." X - "There is no statistically significant differences between the high and low level of external attribution of aggressive behavior in Saudi adolescents " D - The actual data support the validity of the model proposed by the researcher of the relationship between the variables of the study, and the extent of their relationship to aggressive behavior. "
